'SaltMeander Pizzeria' started as a humble vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with London. Established by the Rossi kin in 1985, our pizza shop began as a quaint, locally operated business with recipes passed down generations.
Marco Rossi, our creator, acquired the craft of pizza creation on her Italian voyages, learning from esteemed pizza chefs in Naples—where pizza was conceived. After her adventure back to the UK, she was inspired to bring the essence of real Italian pizza home, with classic techniques and premium components.
Our journey began with a cozy 12-seat eatery and has since expanded into a cherished community fixture. Nevertheless, our dedication to excellence and genuine craftsmanship remains unchanged. We continue to employ age-old wood-burning oven methods, produce our dough from scratch every day, and seek out the best quality ingredients available.
Presently, 'SaltMeander Pizzeria' stays under family governance, with the Rossi progeny at the helm of our devoted crew. Even as we have welcomed new innovations, at our core we still prioritize crafting sumptuous, real pizza that unites friends and family.
